Madhubani Painting - Madhubani painting, originating from Bihar, India, is a traditional folk art known for its vibrant colors and intricate patterns. Artists use natural dyes and depict Hindu mythology, nature, and daily life scenes. The paintings often feature bold outlines and geometric shapes, creating a unique and visually striking style. In this workshop, Hema ji will show how to paint a beautiful painting of a peacock in Bharni Style. In Madhubani paintings, A peacock in the Madhubani painting represents divine love, knowledge, prosperity, and romance. As the feather is in the form of an eye, it is believed that it saves us from evil and negativity. Bharni is a Hindi word, which means ‘filling’. The name of the art form expresses the style of painting full of color and design.
