"Eternal Serenity of Lord Shiva  in Kerala Mural": This Kerala mural painting beautifully depicts Lord Shiva seated in a meditative yet majestic posture, radiating calmness and divine authority. His serene white complexion represents purity, detachment, and supreme consciousness. Behind him, the fiery halo and Trishula symbolize his cosmic power and the destruction of ignorance. To his side, Goddess Parvati is shown with grace and compassion, signifying Shakti and divine partnership. Lord Ganesha, with his gentle smile, appears on the left, representing wisdom, auspicious beginnings, and the remover of obstacles. On the other side, Kartikeya (Murugan) is seen with youthful elegance, symbolizing courage and valor. The intricate ornaments, crowns, and sacred threads adorning the deities highlight the traditional Kerala mural style, which blends spirituality with elaborate artistry. The use of warm tones like saffron, orange, and gold enhances the aura of divinity and spiritual warmth in the composition. Together, the divine family embodies harmony, balance, and completeness in the cosmic order. This mural is not only a devotional artwork but also a magnificent example of Kerala’s temple painting tradition, where every detail carries symbolic meaning.
Saju's artwork serves as a catalyst for deeper cultural understanding and appreciation, inviting viewers to reflect on the significance of Kerala's diverse heritage and the ongoing contributions of its tribal communities to the region's cultural landscape.
