While Adam and Eve, as figures from Christian theology, are not typically featured in traditional Kalighat art, artists in this style often adapt their subjects to reflect broader cultural and religious themes.
Ramayan In Kalighat Painting: This Kalighat painting beautifully depicts scenes from the Ramayan, a famous Indian epic. This painting shows some moments of Ram Sita's life. Ram is portrayed as a brave and righteous hero, while Sita embodies purity and devotion. The art uses bold lines and bright colors to express emotions and the moral lessons of the story.
