**For Catterfly Art Workshops, sometimes we use the reference image from internet to teach the methods and techniques of traditional art rather than copying the sample image. Traditional arts of India in general suffer from lack of documentation and copyright issues and Catterfly is helping the traditional artist to ensure that they get their dues. At no stage it is intentioned to sell the copyrighted art of any artist with the name of other artist. All the art products which are sold on Catterfly website are the original art work of the artist whose name is mentioned alongside the artwork.**
About The Workshop
Paint and create this "A Cozy Evening In Paris" with Vipra Karkare, an amazing artist. Bring this mesmerizing artwork to life through innovative contemporary painting techniques.
"A Cozy Evening in Paris" - From the artist's eye- I’ve only been to Paris once, but it left a lasting impression on me. One evening during that trip, I stepped out onto a small, beautifully decorated balcony. The iron railings, simple plants, and soft evening light made everything feel calm and balanced. From there, I could see the Eiffel Tower in the distance, not overwhelming, but quietly present as part of the city. As an artist, I expected to focus on details like architecture, perspective, light and shadow. And yes, Paris offers all of that. The buildings are elegant, with consistent tones and textures, and there’s a rhythm to how everything fits together.
But what stayed with me more was the overall feeling. The light is softer than you might expect. The colors aren’t loud, they’re muted, slightly warm, and very harmonious. Nothing feels rushed, and that shows in the way the city looks.

That’s what I want to bring into this workshop.
We’ll be painting a Paris balcony scene with the Eiffel Tower in the background, but the goal isn’t to recreate a perfect photograph. It’s to understand the mood, how to simplify shapes, how to use a softer palette, and how to create depth without overworking every detail.
In our workshop, when we paint this scene, the balcony, the distant tower, the rhythm of buildings, I don’t want you to worry about getting it “right.” Instead, I want you to stand where I stood.
Feel the quiet evening air. Imagine the faint clinking of cups from a cafe below.
Let your brush slow down.
Let your colors soften.
Let your lines loosen, just enough to let the story come through.

So whether you’ve been to Paris or not, I promise you this, When you paint it, you will have been there.
