Sacred Form of ArdhanarishwaraThis Kerala mural painting represents Ardhanarishwara, the divine combined form of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Ardhanarishwara symbolizes the unity of masculine and feminine energies in the universe. In the painting, one side shows the features of Lord Shiva, while the other side reflects the grace and beauty of Goddess Parvati. The trishul, snake, and tiger skin represent Shiva’s power and spiritual strength. The softer ornaments, gentle hand gestures, and elegant details symbolize the feminine energy of Parvati.
