In the Pichwai painting tradition, cows play an important role as lord Krishna was a cowherd in the formative years of his life, Pichwai in particular focuses on the events in Shri Krishna’s life as a seven-year-old. In Nathdwara, people generally worship cows in gratitude for all they provide, by bathing, decorating, and performing rituals for them. About the Master Artist

Mr. Rajnish Nimbark ji is a State Award-winning artist from Jaipur, Rajasthan in India. He comes from a family of artists who have practiced traditional Pichwai painting for generations.
