Create a beautiful "Dancing Shiva Parvati" Madhubani painting. Learn from our native master artist Ms. Hema Devi, a national award-winning artist from Bihar.   • To learn the technique of Bharni Madhubani Painting.
  • How to retain proportion and symmetry in a freehand.
  • Learn intricate colouring and how to use complementary colours

Module Details 
Module 1: Drawing borders and customizing them to the theme.
Module 2: Create the central motif of Shiv ji and Parvati ji with a free-hand drawing
Module 3: Detailing of the central motif of Shiv ji and Parvati ji 
Module 4: Detailing of the design around central and secondary motifs
Module 5: Fill vibrant colors around the central and supporting motifs
Module 6: Fill vibrant colors in the border and adding finishing touches

  • Some Colored Drawing Sheets / Chart Papers / Canvas - 22*30 inches
  • Pencils / Eraser / Sharpener
  • Black Color Pen / Thin Marker
  • Colors ( Any Water - Based - Poster / Fabric / Acrylic etc.) and Brushes (0 / 1 / 2 / 3 Number)
  • Rough Cloth
  • Water

About the Master Artist

Catterfly National Awardee artist for Madhubani Art, Mrs. Hema Devi comes from a family of Madhubani artists. Her mother Leela Devi and mother-in-law Subhadhra Devi are also national award winners. Apart from practicing the craft, she also teaches students the techniques of paper mache and Madhubani Art.
