Pattachitra is traditionally done on Pata i.e. cloth canvas. These days native artists have started using different surfaces like clay plates, bottles, wooden sculptures etc. to make Pattachitra paintings. In this workshop we are going to prepare a beautiful and colorful painting of little Kanha playing along with Mother Yashoda on a terracotta plate.
This artwork is finished in 5 modules of ~1 hour each. You can pace yourself depending on your skill and experience in sketching, detailing and coloring. Enjoy the making of the artwork and indulge in bringing your personal creations and customization to the artwork.
