Learning Objectives and Modules:

In this workshop, participants will learn the detailed techniques of Kerala Mural painting, focusing on color washing and shading styles. They will also explore the history and meaning of different designs used in this art.
Participants will get hands-on practice with all the steps needed to create a Kerala Mural painting. The lessons will include a step-by-step drawing and painting tutorial with clear voice instructions.
The artist will give guidance and support throughout the process, answering questions and helping participants understand and apply this beautiful traditional art form.

Module 1: Washing background, bark of the tree and water
Module 2: Washing background, bark of the tree, water and shading on the water
Module 3: Shading on the water, bark of the tree
Module 4: Shading on the tree
Module 5: Shading on the background, leaves, lotus & washing lotus & leaves
Module 6: Washing peacock, shading on the leaves & peacock and detailing of the peacock
Module 7: Shading of peacock & Murshidul start
Module 8: Muricidal using black outlining & finishing of the painting.
