Gond Painting: Gond painting is a traditional tribal art form practiced by the Gond community of central India, mainly in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, and Odisha. It originated as wall and floor paintings created to decorate homes and invoke protection, prosperity, and harmony with nature. Gond artists draw inspiration from forests, animals, birds, trees, folk tales, and tribal deities. - Acrylic Paints- Sap Green, Ochre Yellow, Cadmium Yellow, Crimson Lake/ Scarlet Lake, Permanent Orange, Black, White, Cobalt Blue, Permanent Blue Light, Burnt Sienna.

About the Master Artist
Catterfly master artist Sahdev ji is from a tribal family in Patangarh, situated in Dindori. He is a generational Gond artist and has conducted many art exhibitions.
