Mysore painting is very unique but having difficulty due to lack of exposure. Also not easy to do. So thank you for highlighting this art form. I would like to thank Catterfly for conducting the Mysore painting workshops with Master artist Sridharji. The classes were all online and I was able to follow the video tutorials very clearly. I could also work at my own pace. Thanks to Sridharji for sharing his experience and imparting this unique knowledge. I will definitely recommend the class to others.

My journey with Catterfly began with the free workshop on Gond art. It was a very good and totally a new experience for me, a retired person who had in the bucket list many things and one of them was painting. Indeed it was a bold thing to do having not touched the pencil and brush after my school days way back in 1969. But Sahdevji, the renowned artist and Nidhiji made the things easy and enjoyable for me. Thanks both of you.
After that my journey with Catterfly continued and I tried Pattachitra, Dancing Girl, basics of Pattachitra . Bhaskarji , the award winning artist tried his level best to help us , especially a person like me.Our mentor Shri Sudhakarji too was helpful.
I have tremendous respect for Shrinathji and the arts associated with His Seva. One of them is Pichhwai. When I saw the Shrinathji painting, I immediately registered for that program and believe me I not only enjoyed it but completed it successfully. Credit goes to the teacher Shri Rajnishji. He really taught with patience, tolerated all the questions which I used to ask. He never said I get disturbed when you ask questions in between. Hats off to his patience. His art of teaching is so good that I joined 2. Enchanting Flute, miniature 3. Divine Love, 4. Ram Darbar and 5 Divine and playful Krishna. These are miniatures , I confess, I had no idea about such paintings, having spent 37 years teaching in College as Associate Professor. Rajnishji as I said , made me comfortable with the art, especially shading, which for me is very difficult.
Our mentor for miniature is Manjulaji. She too has patience and answers all my queries even after the class, via WhatsApp.
I have bothered Nidhiji too, Calling her asking about programs etc.
Over all I will say that Catterfly has helped me to come out of my health problems and helped/ helping me to fulfill my wish to learn painting.

My journey of learning the art of Madhubani started with 'Two fishes' in 2020 December. I'm awestruck when Hemaji creates a beautiful painting with great ease & skill. I'm instantly transported to the wonderful world of Madhubani.
I feel nervous to recreate what Hemaji teaches & every time after finishing a painting I understand that it's just a beginning for me. I think picking up the intricacies of Madhubani is a lifetime learning. The constant encouragement of Hemaji & Manjulaji bring me back for more such enjoyable classes.
I'm thankful to Catterfly for creating this beautiful platform. This activity gives a great sense of fulfillment & I'm sure there are many that share this sentiment.
